Do your best to get the mixture right on the first time because if you have to correct by adding some more beer or flour, and you do it too much, you’re going to throw the proportions of the ingredients out of whack–you’d have to add more egg to maintain the same ingredient ratio and, thus, the same taste, and you don’t want to mess up this recipe because when you get it right, it is amazing!

To use this batter, you’re simply going to take your shrimp you have for whatever shrimp taco recipes you’ll be using, and one at a time dip it into this batter so it’s completely covered, and then deep fry your shrimp one at a time. This batter will cook with the shrimp and caramelize around it, leaving you with shrimp to use in your tacos that taste world-class.

I mentioned before that this is the batter that’s use for Baja shrimp taco recipes, but it works great with shrimp for almost any type of shrimp taco recipe.
